“There is no code without a body”

-Critical thinking for a digital world-

Philosopher of technology, with a doctorate from the Autonomous University of Madrid, my career operates at the intersection of philosophy, art, and technopolitics.

I coordinate digital social innovation initiatives, situated technologies, and ludic culture with international impact. These activities are informed by my prior experience as founder and director of two ongoing projects: 17 years (2009-2026) with ARSGAMES, an international research-action collective where I have developed cultural, educational, and technological projects with institutions across Europe, Latin America, and Asia; and three years (2016-2018) at Fábrica Digital El Rule (Mexico City’s Ministry of Culture). I also collaborated with the Multimedia Center of CENART (2013-2014) in launching projects that continue to this day, such as LEIVA (Interdisciplinary Laboratory for Experimentation and Innovation with Video Games and Interactive Art).

My research is articulated through a transdisciplinary and situated approach, which questions technological neutrality and explores its role in shaping subjectivities, futures, and power structures. I have authored around a hundred publications (books, chapters, articles, reports) with publishers such as Cátedra and Tirant lo Blanch, and have taught at universities in Spain and Mexico including UOC, CENTRO, Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana, and Universidad Isabel I.

In my public engagement work, I have delivered approximately 200 international lectures and curated exhibitions that link philosophical thought, art, and emerging technologies, such as Video Games: The Two Sides of the Screen (Fundación Telefónica, 2019-2026), with international tours and over 200,000 visitors.

Dedicated to public policy impact, advisory, and consultancy, I have collaborated in designing strategies around cultural rights, equality, and technologies with institutions including the Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Equality, Generalitat de Catalunya, Observatory for Gender Equality in Culture, Centro Reina Sofía, FAD Educa, Oxfam Intermón, UNICEF, and others.

I investigate how technologies shape imaginaries and social bonds, exploring their potential to rewrite the codes that sustain the boundaries of the possible.

Curator

I conceive exhibitions as spaces where thought is activated, not where objects are displayed. Curating is a way of creating conditions for something to happen: questions, connections, interruptions. I work at the intersection of art, technology, and politics, and some of these exhibitions, such as Video Games: The Two Sides of the Screen, have reached hundreds of thousands of visitors without sacrificing complexity or conflict. It is not about translating ideas into space, but about inhabiting them publicly.

Writer

My writing explores the tensions and possibilities between technology, art, and society—spanning essays and research to narrative fiction and interactive scripts. I have published over one hundred texts in books, journals, and specialized media, with more than five hundred academic citations. Beyond my work in nonfiction, I have begun developing fiction and video game scripts, experimenting with non-linear narratives and immersive worlds. I write to think, to imagine futures, and to create worlds that invite others in.

Comunicator

I move with ease on stage, behind a microphone, or in front of a camera. I host, moderate, and provoke conversations that matter—at festivals, conferences, and through podcasts, print media, and television programs. My specialty lies in translating complexity without losing its spark.

Educator & Learning Designer

From university classrooms to citizen labs and mentoring programs, I have designed and led learning experiences that bridge art, technology, and critical thinking. It’s not just about learning—it’s about gaining tools to transform projects, communities, and ways of seeing the world. Each program is its own ecosystem, tailored to its participants and aimed at creating real impact beyond the classroom.

Creative

I conceive and produce works that invite people to play with ideas: from collages and interactive pieces to video games with their own narratives. My work explores how art and technology can intertwine to tell stories, activate the senses, and open possible worlds. Each project is an experiment—an excuse for the audience to stop being spectators and become part of the work.

DIGITAL ART

Innovación tecnológica en la exposición sobre neutralidad de carbono y energías renovables.
